To assure our standards, we have a Certified Technician with over 30 years experience in orthodontic technology.

As for our retainer standards, we use the most durable acrylic on the market. This promotes the stability of the appliance and also makes it potentially longer lasting.

Appliances

• Hawley Retainer An acrylic appliance most commonly used for holding or stabilizing. Includes a labial bow and 2 retention clasps in acrylic.
• Removable Flipper (see hawley as description above) An interim appliance w/pontic(s) as prescribed, for holding space(s). Provide shade w/Rx.
• Wrap-Around One continuous wire (guage of your choice) and two keeper springs. Or a labial bow soldered to molar clasps with two keeper springs in acrylic.
• Spring Retainer Reset anteriors, labial bow, (design of your choice), clear acrylic on labial wire and a single color acrylic on lingual. With or without extensions. Can also be made as an invisible type retainer, known as a modified spring retainer.
• Clear (Invisible) Retainer Made of Bio, Essix or C+ type material from 1mm - 1.5mm.
• Bleaching Tray Made of Bio, Essix or C+ type material, in choice of hard or soft (flex) material from 1mm - 1.5mm. Bleach material reservoirs extended to 1st molars then custom trimmed.
• Night Guard (TMJ) Thin to medium thickness in hard or soft (flex) material.
• Athletic Mouth Guard Medium to heavy thickness in soft(flex) material. Cutom made.
• Acrylic Splints Articulated, equilibrated as prescribed. Up to 2mm occlusal acrylic coverage. (Clear acrylic recommended).
• Removable Functional Appliances Saggittals, Schwartz, 3-Way appliances to name a few.
• Fixed Flipper Pontic(s) fixed to a lingual wire set in acrylic.
• RPE's Hyrax A fixed Arch expansion appliance. Includes the basic wire design w/screw attachment that makes that particular appliance.
• W Appliance A heavy wire with wire arms that extend up to the bicuspid or cuspid region. No loops
• Quad Helix A W Appliance with loops.
• TP Bars A heavy guage wire with a loop in the center of the palate with arms that extend towards and soldered to the molar bands. This appliance can be passive or adjusted to widen or rotate the molars.
• Nance A fixed arch stabilizing appliance made of a wire that extends from the molars to mid palate to prevent mesial movement of the molars during transition.
• Habit Breakers A fixed wire appliance incorporating a "crib" to discourage thumb sucking or tongue thrusting.
• Bilateral or Unilateral Space Maintainer A fixed appliance that prevents movement towards and maintains the space for the unerrupted tooth area.
